Add team members and privilege adoption
MSP team members do not have authority to access MSP portal, they will only get privileges defined in team privilege.
When including a user into MSP team member list, system will compare team privilege with user original privilege on all Org/Network. If they are not equal, higher privilege will take effect.
One user can be the member of different MSP teams and get all team privilege he(she) belongs to. When user was removed from MSP team, coorsponding team privilege will be remove at the same time.
MSP Teams function support two different ways to manage team member list
By EnGenius Cloud DB
By 3rd party identity provide (IdP) service
To manage team member list on EnGenius Cloud DB, go to MSP Protal > Teams > Team Management > Team Member to edit team member list
Manage team member list on EnGenius Cloud DB
To hook MSP team member list with 3rd party Idp service allows MSP manage single user DB for every system in their company. MSP Teams use SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) to communicate with 3rd party IdPs. It requests the user's email account and MSP Teams attributes from the IdP to match the team's privilege settings for each access.
MSP Teams can leverage any IdP service that uses SAML for authentication. Please refere to Configuring MSP Teams SAML SSO with ADFS for the configuration example of SMAL SSO.
MSP Teams associate with external IdP service
Clone Organization & Network
In most cases, it will be easier for MSPs expand their business in same vertical market, so that the network structure, or even network location, company organization... will be similar in their end customers.
Clone Organization & Network fucntion allows you to duplicate the the Org-wide and Network-wide configurations such as Org/HV/network structures, SSIDs, protocols, device templates, firmware policies, or other general network settings to target Org/Network. It saves lot of time for administrators initail the configurations for their new customers.
The clone network function in MSP protal supports multi-network clone and also cross-org clone that gives even more flexibility for administrators to get the initial cofiguration done.
